Terms & Conditions for Printly — Print & Scan · Last updated October 13, 2026

Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Printly — Print & Scan iOS app (“Printly”, “the app”) and this website, provided by Sibra (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

These Terms work alongside Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.

The app

Printly lets you print documents, photos, web pages, contacts, text, drawings and ready-made printable templates from your iPhone to AirPrint-compatible printers, and scan documents with your camera. Features may change over time as we improve the app.

Printing relies on Apple’s AirPrint and on your printer, network and device. We can’t guarantee that every printer, network or file will work, or that printed output will match the on-screen preview exactly.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or distribute the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

Free features and Premium

Free. The Scanner, Text, Drawing and Photo tools are available for free, together with a limited number of free prints (currently two) so you can try the app.

Premium. Premium unlocks all other tools and unlimited printing. It may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription (for example monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

The free version may show ads.

Subscriptions and payments

  • Payment. Purchases are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Apple processes all payments; we never receive your payment details.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Free trials. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
  • Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel any time in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Lifetime purchase. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks Premium for as long as we offer the app, on devices using the same Apple ID.
  • Restoring. Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore Premium on a new or reset device signed in with the same Apple ID.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you as required and, where needed, ask for your consent before the new price applies.

Your content

You keep all rights to the documents, photos, text, drawings and other content you print or scan (“your content”). Your content is processed on your device; we don’t claim ownership of it and don’t receive it.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to copy and print it. Don’t use Printly to reproduce material in a way that infringes someone else’s copyright or other rights, or to print anything unlawful.

Printable templates

The printable templates in the app (calendars, planners, cards, certificates, activities, labels, paper and others) are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use: you may personalize and print them for yourself, your family, your classroom or your own events. You may not sell, redistribute or publish the templates themselves, or offer them as part of another product or service. Templates may be added, updated or removed over time.

Third-party services

Some features rely on services we don’t control, such as Apple’s App Store and AirPrint, Dropbox, Google AdMob and Firebase, RevenueCat and OneSignal. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Websites you open to print are provided by their owners. We aren’t responsible for third-party services, content or availability.

Acceptable use

When using Printly you agree not to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • interfere with, disrupt or try to gain unauthorized access to the app, our servers or the services we rely on;
  • get around purchase, print limits or other restrictions in the app;
  • use automated means to access the app or copy the template catalog.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, templates, artwork and the Printly name and logo belong to Sibra or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from the license above, these Terms don’t give you any rights in them.

Apple, iPhone, AirPrint and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Dropbox is a trademark of Dropbox, Inc. Other names are the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every printer, or that scans will be perfectly accurate. Please check important documents before relying on a printout or scan.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under the law of your country.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sibra will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, paper, ink, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or US$10 if you paid nothing.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using Printly at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as content rights, disclaimers and limitation of liability — continue after termination.

Apple-specific terms

  • These Terms are between you and Sibra, not Apple. Sibra, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the app.
  • Sibra, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
  • If a third party claims the app infringes its intellectual property, Sibra, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app or on this page. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Sibra is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
